As with the master bedroom, the walls are freshly painted in a heritage Tuscan-inspired plaster faux finish with Benjamin Moore's sunny "Nacho Cheese."

The original fir flooring was recently refinished and lightened but still holds its original, timeless charm. New white floor moldings. Windows and doors trimmed with white wood moldings.

4-double electrical outlets. As with other rooms there is a network jack that allows you to easily connect multiple computers to a cable or dsl internet connection.

Windows

White stained wood moldings with elegant carved ivy pattern trim the windows and door.

One standard east-facing window looks over the rear deck.

A highlight of the room is a small west-facing, unique trapezoidal window. The window highlights the eye-catching portion of the home which juts out a few feet.

Lighting

The entry niche to the room [beside the built-in shelving] has a new 3-bulb fixture. Illuminate items displayed in the shelves.

2-bulb fluorescent ballast light fixture with full-spectrum bulbs at the peaked ceiling.

Storage

A bed or desk fit nicely under the slanted seating with a nice western view from the unique trapezoidal window. The cozy space creates many options.

Unique Features

Built-in Chest of Drawers

Not only does the closet have plenty of hanging clothes and shelving storage, but there is a handy built-in chest of drawers. Six 21" x 21" x 7" drawers on heavy-duty extending slides make for plenty of storage. The drawers and closet allow for tidy and convenient storage.

Ceilings

No boring boxy, square rooms in this house! Each upstairs room in the home features a distinctive angled ceiling. The bedroom's ceiling is lofty, reaching a height of an impressive 10 feet at its peak. Walls join at intriguing and creative angles, making this home a treat for the eyes.

Clerestory Window

3 1/2 linear feet of 2' tall clerestory windows (vertical skylight or a row of windows above eye level that allow light into a space. Clerestories provide light without distractions of a view or compromising privacy).
