Walls & Floors

As with the living room the walls are freshly painted in "Wildflower Honey," an okra yellow. The west wall is a sage green "Mesa Grey" as with the house's exterior. All paint is semi-gloss for easy clean-up.

The original antique fir flooring has seen the pitter-patter of many feet but is as solid as ever. New white floor moldings. Windows and doors trimmed with white wood moldings.

4-double electrical outlets. As with other rooms there is a network jack that allows you to easily connect multiple computers to a cable or dsl internet connection.

* Note the room has generous space for a queen bed.

Windows

Two windows, one east-facing and one south-facing, make this room sunny throughout the day. The east-facing window looks over the rear deck and receives sunrise light each morning.

Windows completed with bamboo roll blinds.

Lighting

2-bulb fluorescent ballast light fixture with full-spectrum bulbs at the peaked ceiling.

Storage

Two closets, one inside and one in the hallway, can service this bedroom. The bedroom closet features extra storage above in the loft ceiling as well as below a shelf.

A ledge and recessed section of wall on the other side of the hallway's laundry chute would make for an interesting built-in shelf or cabinet.

The vaulted ceilings would allow ample room for a series of high bunk and loft beds. The bedroom's ceiling is lofty, reaching a height of an impressive 9'6" at its peak. Walls join at intriguing and creative angles, making this home a treat for the eyes.
